Personal data processing policy

We comply with Colombian regulations (Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013). Here we explain how we process your data, what rights you have and how to exercise them.

02Purpose of processing

The personal data we collect is used exclusively for the following purposes:

  • Lead management: identifying business opportunities and handling requests for information.
  • Business contact: responding to inquiries, proposals and communications initiated by the data subject.
  • Scheduling: coordinating meetings, calls and advisory sessions.
  • Marketing and communications: sending content, news and campaigns related to our financial services.
  • Analysis and improvement: understanding how the site is used and optimizing the experience and value proposition.
  • Legal compliance: meeting accounting and tax obligations and requests from competent authorities.

03Rights of the data subject

In accordance with Law 1581 of 2012, as the data subject you have the right to:

  • Know, update and correct your personal data.
  • Request proof of the authorization granted for the processing of your data.
  • Be informed about how your information has been used.
  • File complaints with the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC).
  • Revoke your authorization and/or request the deletion of your data when constitutional and legal principles, rights and guarantees are not respected.
  • Access your personal data being processed free of charge.

04User authorization

By filling out forms, subscribing to our communications or initiating contact with Optiks, you give prior, express and informed authorization for the processing of your personal data for the purposes described in this policy.

Authorization may be recorded in any medium that can be consulted later (web forms, email, messages, calls recorded with consent, etc.).

You may revoke this authorization at any time by writing to hola@optiks.com.co.

05Procedure for inquiries and complaints

To exercise your rights as a data subject, follow this simple procedure:

  1. Send your request to hola@optiks.com.co clearly stating: your full name, contact details, a description of the facts and the specific request (inquiry, update, deletion or revocation).
  2. You will receive confirmation of receipt within a maximum of 2 business days.
  3. Inquiries will be answered within a maximum of ten (10) business days.
  4. Complaints will be addressed within a maximum of fifteen (15) business days, extendable by up to eight (8) additional days when necessary.
  5. If you believe your request has not been properly handled, you may contact the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC).

06Policy validity

This Personal Data Processing Policy is effective from its publication and will remain in force for as long as Optiks continues its business activity.

The databases managed by Optiks will remain in force for as long as the purpose of the processing persists, or until the data subject requests the deletion of their information, unless there is a legal obligation to retain it.

Any substantial change will be communicated through our website at least ten (10) business days before it takes effect.
