WHEN IT MAKES SENSE

The round is won before the pitch.

01

You plan to raise in the next year

The best time to prepare is before investors ask. Rounds move faster when the numbers are ready.

02

Investors ask for numbers you build by hand

Cohorts, unit economics and projections should come from one model, not from a new spreadsheet each meeting.

03

You want to raise on your terms

Preparing early lets you choose timing and investors instead of raising under cash pressure.

FAQ

Common questions

Do you raise the capital for us?

No. We prepare your company and advise you through the process. Your conversations and agreements with investors are yours: Optiks does not act as a broker and does not offer or sell securities.

When should we start preparing?

Ideally three to six months before you plan to meet investors. That leaves time to fix what the numbers show before anyone else sees them.

Do you replace our finance team?

No. We work with your team and leave the model and processes in place so they keep running after the round.

Which markets do you cover?

Tech companies in Latin America and the United States, from our offices in Bogotá and Monterrey.

What do you need from us to start?

A 30-minute call and access to your latest financials. We tell you where you stand before proposing anything.
